Lais is a Toronto-based R&B artist whose first album, SESSION ONE, attracted the attention of Drake's record label OVO and was subsequently aired on OVO Sound Radio and Beats 1/Apple Music. The task was to orchestrate an Instagram campaign to promote the release of his new album, GIVE ME ONE MORE. To compliment Lais’ raw and dark vibe and aesthetic, I designed cinemagraphs (animated photographs) for every track on the album. These visuals are formatted for both the Instagram Feed and Instagram Stories. Social media engagements tripled during the week prior to its release and Lais was awarded favourite new artist of the week by Apple Music.
